My Faith in Humanity Has Temporarily Been Restored..

Story tiiime.

So. My gas light came on as I was leaving school to head to work, I was running late, so stopping for gas would mean that I’d actually be late.

However, once I got to the tutoring site, I was informed that none of the children actually stayed for tutoring. Ie, it wouldn’t have mattered if I had stopped for gas. I head towards Costco, which is only a few miles away. Well just my luck I run out of gas .4 miles away from the gas station at the start of a round-about (I really hate those things). Do you know how aggravating that is? horribly.

So, I turn the car off and my hazards on and I’m like well shit, it’d be really cool if I had some friends right about now, but that’s really beside the point. People are passing me and I’m thinking..people kinda suck..and then this man appears out of nowhere  and he was like “do you need me to push your car out of the intersection?” and I’m in no position to say no..so I put my car in reverse and he gets me over to the curb and then pushes my car with his to get me off the road. Then he says “I don’t have a gas can but there’s a home depot next to Costco, would you like a ride there?”

It’s freezing balls cold..and I weigh next to nothing..he isn’t giving me the creeper vibe (I’m really good a detecting creeps)…so I say yes, because really he looks like a friendly old man and I could totally kick his ass if he tried anything. Anyways, we go to home depot and the gas station, get gas, go back to my car and fill it up. I thank him profusely and he says no problem. I get in my car, he gets in his and we drive away.

Moral of the story: Get gas when your light comes on & not everybody sucks.

Also, here is how close the gas station is…SO ANNOYING.
